CPD Conference

"I was lucky enough to be demonstrating the STOTT PILATES V2 Max at the CPD Conference, Manchester on the 15th May 2009. The medical panel was a colourful assortment of surgeons, chiropractors, physiotherapists and osteopaths.

Our morning moderator was Dr. Saeed Mohammad, Consultant Spinal Surgeon, Spire Manchester Hospital. The debating panel was Jeff Ross - Physiotherapist, Philip Owen - Osteopath, Brad Williamson - Spinal Surgeon, Tim Lynch - Chiropractor. In the afternoon we listened to the Tale of The Hare and the Tortoise, by Dr Ilan Lieberman, Consultant Anaesthetist and Pain Mangement, and Mr Raymond Ross on Chronic Back Pain - What Surgery ? "

Conclusion: All the scenarios resulted in the tremendous benefits of core stability, ie Pilates.
