SAS Train with Yoga and Pilates

SAS heroes have turned to yoga to prepare the secret missions in Afghanistan. The crack regiment, which has one of the most gruelling selection tests in the world, has also begun using Pilates as a part of its rigorous training regime. As well as being excellent for building strength, both activities are viewed as ideal in helping troopers deal with mental stress in combat. But the "new age" image of yoga does not sit well with many of the regiments more macho soldiers.Our SAS source said "there was a certain amount of resistance to pilates because it was regarded as the sort of exercise women do at the women's institute."
